Resident Evil 8: Village

Capcom was not holding back with its Resident Evil remakes and now that both the remakes of RE: 2 and 3 became successful, Capcom decided to jump to a new original sequel titled Resident Evil 8: Village. Despite one of the franchise’s most popular games being Resident Evil 4, which was in third-person, Capcom has decided to shift from its third-person view roots to a first-person survival game. Let’s see whether that will turn into a hit or a miss for the series.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

A next-gen console launch cannot be complete without a Ubisoft game and the famous Assassin’s Creed series is being added to the PS5 repository. Valhalla is expected to be a lot different from your typical Assassin’s Creed games. This time the story features a world of Vikings where the player will assume the role of Eivor and will embark on glorious adventures throughout the game. Valhalla will also have hints of RPG gameplay added to game mechanics which is a novel take on the series.

Stray

Every cat person’s dream comes true this time in PlayStation 5. The game’s teaser was revealed at Sony’s Future of Gaming event and since then, the entire gaming community is asking for more details than a 2-minute teaser. From the looks of the teaser, Stray is set in a dystopian cyberpunk world where human presence is overpowered by futuristic robots. Amid the crackling and scrunching of metal scrapes, you play as a stray cat that is separated from its family. You must find your way back home but you don’t know what adventures and trials await you until then.

Warframe

Steam’s Warframe has never budged from its position as the most popular free-to-play Steam game. The sci-fi shooter game is no longer limited to PC gamers as Leyou Technology has decided to bring it to PlayStation 5! We aren’t quite sure if the game will support cross-platform gameplay as it’s also scheduled for an Xbox Series X. We cannot make any assumptions either as no definite release date has been announced so far.

Rainbow Six Siege

Another Ubisoft game, Rainbow Six Siege, has entered the PlayStation 5 game lineup. The game is already available on the current console generation as well as on PC but given the game’s popularity, Ubisoft decided to bring the multiplayer game to PS5, as well. The good news is that Rainbow Six Siege is a cross-platform device compatible so if you’re running it on PS4 and your game mates are playing the game on their PS5, the game will support both the console types at once.

To Conclude

Alongside the aforementioned list of all the confirmed PS5 games, there are a few rumoured titles as well. Most of the titles include AAA games such as Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Ghost of Tsushima. Well, you can get your hopes high for these triple-A titles to join the next-gen Sony console but before any official news hits the gaming realm, make sure you are connected to high-speed internet as widely offered by Wow cable internet. Multiplayer games like Rainbow Six Siege and Warframe require stable internet connectivity so align your investment choices wisely and then get your hands on the latest PlayStation console!
