First-year Boston College law student Lawrence Osterman recently expressed his extreme disappointment at finding Criminal Law class nothing like his favorite TV show, Law and Order.  His decision to enroll in the class was largely empowered by his love for the celebrated cop and lawyer television show.  “They don’t even play the awesome theme from the show ‘dun duh’ at the start of class,” Osterman distraughtly reported.  “I thought we’d hear a lot about jealous lovers murdering one another in ritzy penthouses.  Instead we just read a lot of Jeremy Bentham and Immanuel Kant – it’s boring stuff.
