Griffin ‘93 as Deputy Director of Office of Personnel Management today.  Griffin has been a member of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission since January 2006 and currently serves as its Acting Vice Chair. Jonathan M. Albano BA ‘79 ‘JD 82 (bio) has been named co-chair of the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Section of the Boston Bar Association.

The Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Section addresses civil rights issues such as affirmative action, the right to vote, and same-sex marriage. It also addresses civil liberties concerns like the right to privacy, the balance between liberty and security, and freedom of speech.

Bobby Scott '73 to Speak at VCU Commencement

Rep. Scott (D-Va)Representative Robert C. “Bobby” Scott ‘73 (bio) of Virginia’s Third Congressional District will be the featured speaker at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Fall Commencement.
