History
Eagleionline: Past and Present
Purpose
Eagleionline, LLC (“Eagleionline”) is an organization for Boston College Law School students to learn about and contribute to the BC Law Community. By creating and delivering innovative and useful services, such as an Outline Bank, Newspaper and Campus Calendar, Eagleionline endeavors to strengthen students’ sense of community at BC, enhance their educational experience here, and also to make transitions into law school as easy as possible for future generations of Eagles. Eagleionline is a Massachusetts limited liability company.
History
Before coming to law school, we heard that Boston College Law School’s friendly and supportive environment is unique among law schools. During our 1L year, we were happy to find that the rumors were true: the people at BC Law really are friendly and supportive. Knowing that a law school is only as great as its students, and remembering that it is never too soon to return a favor, we thought about ways to build upon the strong community spirit that currently exists and to make BC Law an even better place to work and live. We decided to foundEagleionline.
In the summer after our first year, we asked our classmates in Section 3 to donate their 1L outlines, and they answered the call in astonishing numbers. Shaileen Stillmank was the very first to donate her work, and others too numerous to mention soon followed. We would like to thank Brad Roberts for his generous efforts in collecting outlines from Section 1, and Paul Ham for his invaluable and longstanding technological advice.
Between its founding and June 2008, Jesse Stellato served as the first Editor in Chief of Eagleionline.com, while Milan Dalal and David Bartholomew served as associate editors. Austin Evers soon joined as Managing Editor, serving in that position between 2007 and the summer of 2008.
Executive Leadership
Jesse Stellato is Chairman of Eagleionline, LLC, the organization that funds the Independent Student-Run Website for Students at Boston College Law School. David Bartholomew is Secretary, and Milan Dalal serves as Eagleionline’s Treasurer and Managing Director.
