Please join the American Constitution Society in welcoming Massachusetts State Senator Jamie Eldridge, BCLS ‘00, who will speak about his experience with legal aid work and his interest in community economic development. Thursday, January 15th, at 5:00PM in East Wing 120, Aryeh Neier will give a talk entitled, “Peace and Justice: Is there a conflict? If so, what is to be done?”

Aryeh Neier is President of the Open Society Institute. Prior to joining the Open Society Institute in 1993, Neier served for 12 years as Executive Director of Human Rights Watch. Before that, he spent 15 years at the American Civil Liberties Union, including eight years as national Executive Director.

ACS will host an event with Kathleen Morris this Wednesday, October 1st at 12:45 p.m. in Stuart 409.  She will give a talk entitled, “Progressive Public Lawyering: Why Public Interest-Minded Law Students Should Pursue Public Law”. Lunch will be provided.
