1Ls are still in finals but all 3Ls finished exams on May 17th. Grades supposedly could pop up on May 11th but tell us if any classes are posting.

frank garcia, who is unresponsive to emails, and who liked to cancel classes the last minute, is really a trashy professor and unfair grader. I must tell others to avoid him.

well, whether frank garcia is a fair grader or not may be disputable.the fact is that he’s indeed unresponsive to emails and is a bad teacher.I still recall how he apologized to the class for having to cancel a class because of some bullshit. the same day he’s found havinga fun time with his family.

I wouldn’t knock Brown. Yes, he has a multiple choice question. But I had him 1L year, and he had (BY FAR) the most well-thought out exam question I have had in law school. I don’t know what it was this year, but the one we had was pure genius (it still makes me think) – it combined, theory, black-letter law, and popular politics. It was much better than the run-of-the-mill issue-spotting monstrosity that most exams entail.Your impatience probably means you didn’t do well.
Does anyone know when 2L (or even 1L) grades are due?? It seems like there havent been any grades posted in over 2 weeks!!
The day I complain about classes being cancelled will be a cold one in hell.
I called the other day. Grades are due June 15. My guess is that the profs. who’ve taken this long will probably wait till the last minute to get them in.

i, too, wouldnt dream of complaining that a class got cancelled. except, when i had garcia in fall 09, he made us do 4 or 5 make-ups. all on friday afternoons, at 2pm, no less. beside that, i thought he was a pretty nice guy.

I do wonder why some prof have waited this long. I had a small seminar class which is not posted yet but I am sure that the prof has graded all the papers.
Som profs take a while because in addition to their small seminar classes, they have large other classes to grade. Sit tight. Unless you’re applying for clerkships, getting your grades in a few weeks does not affect anything (and even the clerkship timetable is still far enough away). And if the class was one of those electives that had 1Ls in it, they won’t release the grades until all the 1L grades are up, generally at the end of June. So relax and try to enjoy the start of summer!

Can someone tell me if Hashimoto’s Business Law & Healthcare Enterprises has just posted? I didn’t fill out those surveys and don’t know for which class I just received a grade.

Haven’t gotten Jones yet… she’s only had a majority of the papers for going on 6 weeks…
No Corps w/Jones for me. I suppose the upside of her taking well beyond a month to grade the exams is that the slight nervousness one has when checking agora for grades goes away after about two weeks of nothing changing on your gpa.

LLL – Grade distributions were sent out a few weeks ago; you can also download the memo with the distributions for the class of 2010 on the Academic Services website
I believe LLL was asking about grade distribution for classes of 2011/2012. Does anybody have any idea when that info will be released? I assume all grades are in now.
The distribution info seems to get get emailed in the last week of June. The past two years it’s been 6/23/09 and 6/25/08. So it should be coming out any day now, probably at the beginning of next week.
