Albano '82 to Co-Chair BBA's Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Section
Jonathan M. Albano BA ‘79 ‘JD 82 (bio) has been named co-chair of the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Section of the Boston Bar Association.
The Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Section addresses civil rights issues such as affirmative action, the right to vote, and same-sex marriage. It also addresses civil liberties concerns like the right to privacy, the balance between liberty and security, and freedom of speech.
Albano is a partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where his practice focuses primarily on constitutional and commercial litigation.
